Thank you for your interest in this exciting opportunity at The Littlehampton Academy.
We appreciate that taking on a new leadership role is an important personal decision; so, we are delighted that you are interested in finding our more about our academy. We look forward to sharing more and hope that you will feel inspired to become part of our team and join us on the next step of our journey.
The Littlehampton Academy is a confident, exciting place to be, serving 1400 students (11-18) in the seaside resort of Littlehampton. We have made many improvements to our academy over recent years, moving forward under the leadership of our new Principal, Morgan Thomas.
Nevertheless, we know that we have more to do. We also know that our new Director of Faculty for Humanities will play a key role in that future success.
Ensuring that all Littlehampton students achieve their full potential is our number one priority. Our commitment to students is not only that they will enjoy access to first-class learning, but that they will also develop the skills they need to flourish and succeed in their future lives. That means responding to individual needs, delivering progress for all through knowing and nurturing each young person who attends the academy.
To achieve our mission, we need the very best leaders driving improvement in our faculties. In humanities, we are being challenged to improve progress across a wide ranging and popular group of subject areas. That’s why it is important that our new Director of Faculty is not only an outstanding practitioner – but also someone who can inspire others to be their very best.
